Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the WP Rollback plugin (the “Service”) operated by WP Rollback (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

WP Rollback is a WordPress plugin that allows users to rollback WordPress.org themes and plugins to previous versions. The Pro version extends this functionality to include premium plugins, activity logs, offsite backups, and other advanced features.

2. Use of the Service

WP Rollback is intended to be used as a tool for WordPress site management. The Service is provided for legitimate website management purposes only. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

3.1 “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” Basis

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

3.2 No Guarantee of Functionality

We provide no (zero) assurances, guarantees, or warranties that the plugin, theme, or WordPress version you are downgrading to will work as you expect. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 No Liability for Rollback Issues

WP ROLLBACK IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED WITHOUT FIRST TAKING THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE ZERO DATA LOSS OR SITE DOWNTIME. WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY ISSUES, DAMAGES, OR SITE FUNCTIONALITY PROBLEMS THAT MAY ARISE FROM USING THE SERVICE.

4.2 Your Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You are using WP Rollback at your own risk
  • You should always back up your website before using WP Rollback
  • You should always test rollbacks on a staging or development site before using on a production site
  • We bear no responsibility for any negative outcomes resulting from the use of our Service

4.3 Limitation of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

a) Your use or inability to use the Service;
b) Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
c) Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service;
d) Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like, which may be transmitted to or through the Service by any third party; and/or
e) Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service.

5. Best Practices

We strongly recommend the following best practices when using WP Rollback:

  1. Always create a complete backup of your website before performing any rollback
  2. Test all rollbacks on a staging or development environment first
  3. Review plugin and theme changelogs to understand what changes were made between versions
  4. Be aware that rolling back may introduce security vulnerabilities that were fixed in newer versions
  5. Consider the compatibility of all your plugins, themes, and WordPress core version before rolling back

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
